How popular isGoogle Keep?

In September 2026, people searched for Google Keep by name about 6,050 times in New Zealand, a 5% decrease from the previous year. These searches made up 15.2% of all New Zealand note-taking app searches, placing Google Keep third out of seven apps. When we asked both ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about note-taking apps, Google Keep appeared in three of the five answers and was the fifth most recommended of the seven.
