In September 2026, Shopify had more branded searches than Wix among ecommerce platforms in New Zealand. Shopify had about 24,400 branded searches, while Wix had 16,400. In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Shopify appeared in all five answers. Wix was mentioned in three out of five: in two of the three ChatGPT answers and in one of the two Google AI Overviews. Shopify was listed before Wix in every answer.
