How popular isDropbox?

In September 2026, people searched for Dropbox by name about 27,800 times in New Zealand, about the same as the previous year. These searches made up 8.7% of all New Zealand cloud storage service searches, placing Dropbox fourth out of eight services. When we asked both ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about cloud storage services, Dropbox appeared in four of the five answers and was the fifth most recommended of the eight.
