In September 2026, ZAP had more branded searches than Rapid7 among vulnerability scanner brands in New Zealand. ZAP had about 110 branded searches, while Rapid7 had 90. ZAP made up 33.3% of all vulnerability scanner brand searches we track, and Rapid7 accounted for 27.3%. In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Rapid7 was mentioned in three out of five: in two of the three ChatGPT answers and in one of the two Google AI Overviews. ZAP was mentioned in two out of five: not in any of the three ChatGPT answers, but in both Google AI Overviews. Rapid7 was listed before ZAP in three out of four answers that named either.
