In September 2026, Meta AI had more branded searches than Google DeepMind among AI model companies worldwide. Meta AI had about 6.4 million branded searches, while Google DeepMind had 135,000. Meta AI made up 31% of all AI model company searches we track, and Google DeepMind accounted for 0.65%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about AI model companies, Google DeepMind appeared in four of the five answers and Meta AI in three.
