In September 2026, Google Pixel had more branded searches than OPPO among smartphone brands in Australia. Google Pixel had about 53,100 branded searches, while OPPO had 40,300. Google Pixel made up 9.2% of all smartphone brand searches we track, and OPPO accounted for 7%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about smartphone brands, Google Pixel appeared in all five answers and OPPO in two. Google Pixel was mentioned before OPPO in three out of five answers.
