In September 2026, Google Pixel had more branded searches than Motorola among smartphone brands in Australia. Google Pixel had about 53,100 branded searches, while Motorola had 4,400. Google Pixel made up 9.2% of all smartphone brand searches we track, and Motorola accounted for 0.76%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about smartphone brands, Google Pixel appeared in all five answers and Motorola in three. Google Pixel was mentioned before Motorola in four out of five answers.
