In September 2026, Trello had more branded searches than Google Workspace among team collaboration platforms worldwide. Trello had about 2.6 million branded searches, while Google Workspace had 1.8 million. Trello made up 15% of all team collaboration platform searches we track, and Google Workspace accounted for 10.7%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about team collaboration platforms, Google Workspace appeared in four of the five answers and Trello in two. Google Workspace and Trello were each mentioned first in two of the four answers that named either.

Top team collaboration platforms in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews

In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Google Workspace was mentioned in four out of five: in two of the three ChatGPT answers and in both Google AI Overviews. Trello was mentioned in two out of five: not in any of the three ChatGPT answers, but in both Google AI Overviews. Google Workspace and Trello were each listed first in two of the four answers that named either.
