In September 2026, Netlify had more branded searches than Google Cloud Run among serverless platforms worldwide. Netlify had about 2.7 million branded searches, while Google Cloud Run had 76,600. Netlify made up 48.6% of all serverless platform searches we track, and Google Cloud Run accounted for 1.4%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about serverless platforms, Google Cloud Run appeared in three of the four answers and Netlify in two.
