In September 2026, 1Password had more branded searches than LastPass among password managers worldwide. 1Password had about 827,000 branded searches, while LastPass had 552,000. 1Password made up 27.2% of all password manager searches we track, and LastPass accounted for 18.2%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about password managers, 1Password appeared in all five answers and LastPass in none.
