In September 2026, Trustpilot had more branded searches than Birdeye among customer review platforms worldwide. Trustpilot had about 2.7 million branded searches, while Birdeye had 74,000. Trustpilot made up 81.5% of all customer review platform searches we track, and Birdeye accounted for 2.2%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about customer review platforms, Trustpilot appeared in all five answers and Birdeye in three. In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Trustpilot appeared in all five answers. Birdeye was mentioned in three out of five: in all three ChatGPT answers, but not in either of the two Google AI Overviews. Trustpilot was listed before Birdeye in three out of four answers.
