In September 2026, Khan Academy had more branded searches than GeoGebra among maths apps in New Zealand. Khan Academy had about 10,200 branded searches, while GeoGebra had 1,390. Khan Academy made up 14.9% of all maths app searches we track, and GeoGebra accounted for 2%. In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, GeoGebra was mentioned in two out of five: in one of the three ChatGPT answers and in one of the two Google AI Overviews. Khan Academy was mentioned in two out of five: in two of the three ChatGPT answers, but not in either of the two Google AI Overviews.
