In September 2026, NRL drew 69.3% of estimated branded searches across these three brands in New Zealand, ahead of Premier League at 17.6%. When we checked with ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, NRL was mentioned most often, in three of the five answers. Of all eight brands we track in sports leagues, NRL was the second most recommended, NFL was third and Premier League was fourth.
