In September 2026, Canva had more branded searches than Google Slides among presentation software in New Zealand. Canva had about 679,000 branded searches, while Google Slides had 75,400. Canva made up 86.4% of all presentation software searches we track, and Google Slides accounted for 9.6%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about presentation software, both Canva and Google Slides appeared in all five answers.
