AliExpress vs Postie:Which is more popular?

In September 2026, AliExpress had more branded searches than Postie among online retailers and marketplaces in New Zealand. AliExpress had about 135,000 branded searches, while Postie had 90,500. AliExpress made up 3.1% of all online retailers and marketplace searches we track, and Postie accounted for 2.1%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about online retailers and marketplaces, Postie appeared in two of the five answers and AliExpress in none.

In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Postie was mentioned in two out of five: not in any of the three ChatGPT answers, but in both Google AI Overviews. AliExpress did not appear in any of the five answers.
