In September 2026, Things had more branded searches than Google Tasks among to do list apps worldwide. Things had about 577,000 branded searches, while Google Tasks had 246,000. Things made up 31.9% of all to do list app searches we track, and Google Tasks accounted for 13.6%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about to do list apps, Things appeared in all five answers and Google Tasks in three.
