In September 2026, TP-Link Tapo had more branded searches than Google Nest among home security camera brands in Australia. TP-Link Tapo had about 12,100 branded searches, while Google Nest had 2,900. TP-Link Tapo made up 8.9% of all home security camera brand searches we track, and Google Nest accounted for 2.1%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about home security camera brands, TP-Link Tapo appeared in four of the five answers and Google Nest in two.
