Claude Code vs Replit:Which is more popular?

In September 2026, Claude Code had more branded searches than Replit among AI coding agents worldwide. Claude Code had about 3.1 million branded searches, while Replit had 1.5 million. Claude Code made up 43.3% of all AI coding agent searches we track, and Replit accounted for 21.1%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about AI coding agents, Claude Code appeared in all five answers and Replit in one. Claude Code was mentioned before Replit in every answer.

In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Claude Code appeared in all five answers. Replit was mentioned in one out of five: in one of the three ChatGPT answers, but not in either of the two Google AI Overviews. Claude Code was listed before Replit in every answer.
