In September 2026, Renovate had more branded searches than OWASP Dependency-Check among dependency scanning tools worldwide. Renovate had about 5,400 branded searches, while OWASP Dependency-Check had 3,600. Renovate made up 3.7% of all dependency scanning tool searches we track, and OWASP Dependency-Check accounted for 2.5%.
