In September 2026, Claude Code had more branded searches than Devin among AI coding agents worldwide. Claude Code had about 3.1 million branded searches, while Devin had 292,000. Claude Code made up 43.3% of all AI coding agent searches we track, and Devin accounted for 4%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about AI coding agents, Claude Code appeared in all five answers and Devin in one. Claude Code was mentioned before Devin in every answer.

In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, Claude Code appeared in all five answers. Devin was mentioned in one out of five: in one of the three ChatGPT answers, but not in either of the two Google AI Overviews. Claude Code was listed before Devin in every answer.
