In September 2026, CompTIA had more branded searches than AWS Certification among IT certification providers worldwide. CompTIA had about 316,000 branded searches, while AWS Certification had 135,000. CompTIA made up 20.6% of all IT certification provider searches we track, and AWS Certification accounted for 8.8%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about IT certification providers, CompTIA appeared in all five answers and AWS Certification in one. In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, CompTIA appeared in all five answers. AWS Certification was mentioned in one out of five: in one of the three ChatGPT answers, but not in either of the two Google AI Overviews. CompTIA was listed before AWS Certification in every answer.
