Codeforces vs LeetCode:Which is more popular?

In September 2026, LeetCode had more branded searches than Codeforces among coding challenge brands worldwide. LeetCode had about 3.4 million branded searches, while Codeforces had 450,000. LeetCode made up 67.5% of all coding challenge brand searches we track, and Codeforces accounted for 9.1%. When we asked ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews about coding challenge brands, LeetCode appeared in four of the five answers and Codeforces in three. LeetCode was mentioned before Codeforces in every answer that named either.

In three ChatGPT questions and two Google AI Overviews, LeetCode was mentioned in four out of five: in two of the three ChatGPT answers and in both Google AI Overviews. Codeforces was mentioned in three out of five: in two of the three ChatGPT answers and in one of the two Google AI Overviews. LeetCode was listed before Codeforces in every answer that named either.
